Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

(A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or independent professional activity.)

Withdrawal Policy

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without providing any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day:

  • on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods, provided you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered together;

  • on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last good, if you have ordered multiple goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately;

  • on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, if you have ordered a good that is delivered in multiple partial shipments or pieces.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Nurani, c/o IP-Management #4873, Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 18, 20459 Hamburg, Germany, Phone: +49 162 5702693, Email: info@nurani.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a different delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we receive notification of your withdrawal. We will use the same payment method for the refund that you used for the original transaction, unless explicitly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged fees for this refund.

We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date you notify us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period expires.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that was not necessary to examine the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the goods.

Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:

  • for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual choice or specification by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;

  • for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded;

  • for the delivery of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of the contract, but which can only be delivered at least 30 days after the contract conclusion and whose current value depends on market fluctuations beyond the trader's control;

  • for the delivery of newspapers, magazines, or periodicals, except for subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts:

  • for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery;

  • for the delivery of goods that, due to their nature, were inseparably mixed with other items after delivery;

  • for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal was removed after delivery.
